Building Structure: A common call to the business regarding building structures.
Yeah I am calling because I have piles of dust around my baseboards and it is concerning my wife is there something we can do to make sure my house won’t fall down?
Sounds like it might be either a moisture ant or a carpenter ant. We would need to inspect and identify the pest. If a moisture ant we would need to get into the crawl space. From my experience it sounds more like a carpenter ant.
I would recommend doing a drill and inject of the wall voids. If the temperatures are above 50 degrees for the week we could treat the exterior with liquid bate.
We do have the western subterranean termite but in my experience it is rare that this is what is causing northwest homeowners problems, they would use a soil treatment.
